With the eye of the tiger and an uncanny ambidextrous ability, Caitilin Tincher our glamorous Lionfish culler is a legend in the water. Armed with a bucket and a pair of spears she is out to destroy. This week on a single dive Caitilin took out 38 Lionfish and promptly sold them to our local restaurant to ensure they would fulfill their destiny as Taco’s!
We watched in awe on a dive in January as a nurse shark put on a wonderful show for our divers on a regular dive. It cut up the dive group in a swim through and started to bury its head in a crevasse in the wall. When it emerged it had a live Lionfish in its mouth! It swam off scoffing the fish whole, then lay down for an after lunch nap!
