PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty Course in Grand Cayman

This is PADI’s most popular speciality scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Diving with Nitrox allows you to safely extend your ‘no-deco’ limits, so you can spend more time on the bottom, especially on repetitive dives.

And the best thing is, you can complete this speciality in just half a day as a ‘dry’ course. You don’t even need to get wet! However, you do need to hold Open Water certification to take the course, i.e. have completed either the PADI Open Water Diver or the PADI Open Water Diver Referral course.

Anyone with the necessary certification can enrol on this course, including children aged 12 years old and up!

You can earn your PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty Diver certification in Grand Cayman in three ways:

1. Complete the Nitrox Specialty as a ‘dry’ course. This is just a 2-3 hour theory session. Upon successful completion, you will be certified as a PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver. This option is perfect if you are short on time or are flying home the next morning so cannot dive.
2. Complete the Nitrox Specialty as a ‘wet’ course. This is the same as option 1 but with two dives on Nitrox the following morning. As such, this is really great value for money!
3. Complete the Nitrox course through PADI eLearning. This is the quickest way to get diving on Nitrox! Complete your eLearning theory through PADI. Then, when you arrive at Tortuga Divers, we will show you how to analyse the tanks and log the contents before certifying you. That’s it! You’re now a Nitrox diver!
